Tue, Oct 29 & Thus Oct 31 from 3:30-5:30: FREE High School Open Gym Climb - Come try it out!

Who is this team for?

Any local Wisconsin High Schoolers (Burlington, Elkhorn, Lake Geneva, Williams Bay, Waterford, Union Grove, Wilmont, Westosha, Mukwonago, East Troy, and everywhere in between!) Each student will represent their own school but we’ll all practice together.

Is climbing experience necessary?

Nope, we’ll teach you! But if you have experience, that’s way cool!

When is this thing happening?

Practice starts Tuesday, November 5, 2024 and will be twice per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm - 5:30pm) at The Loop Commons in Burlington. If you live further away and can’t get here until 4-ish, that’s fine! Competitions are from November - April. See comp schedule below.

What does it cost to participate?

It’s $55 per month to be on the Loop Climb Team which includes unlimited access to Climb @ The Loop, twice-weekly two-hour practices with dedicated coaches, optional Tu/Th morning HIIT workouts, and up to 35% off in our pro-shop. We recommend purchasing your own climbing shoes (we can help you with that), but if you choose to rent ours, add $15/month. Each competition will cost an additional $10 to participate.

Can I play other high school sports and still be on the Loop Climb Team?

Yes. We love dedicated climbers but we understand it’s a long climbing season and high school has lots of obligations. Make it to practice as often as you can! Plus, being able to dunk a basketball can help you dyno on the wall!

Meet your coaches!

Head Coach Bevin

Hello climbers! I'm the owner of Climb @ The Loop and thrilled to bring competitive climbing to our rural communities. As the first-ever climbing team in our area, I'm excited to share this amazing sport with our youth.

Climbing is a family passion for us. My athletic wife and our four kids are all avid climbers, embodying the spirit of adventure this sport instills. At Climb @ The Loop, we've created a welcoming space for students to challenge themselves and forge new friendships.

Climbing offers unique benefits - it's part problem-solving, part physical workout, and part mental challenge. Our team is more than just a sports club—it's a supportive community where everyone can reach new heights. Join us as we make history and build a strong foundation for climbing in our area!

Assistant Coach Megan

Hey there! I'm coach Megan, a Michigan native with a passion for climbing that I discovered while living in Vegas. Now I'm back in the midwest, helping run Climb @ The Loop and loving every minute of it.

Climbing is the perfect mix of brain teaser, workout, and mental challenge. At our gym, we're all about creating a fun, supportive community where everyone can push their limits and make great friends.

When I'm not at the gym or taking pictures, you'll find me hanging out with my amazing dog (seriously, he's the best) and spending time outside.

Assistant Coach Justin

Hello! I’m coach Justin. Once The Loop opened up in 2020, climbing became much more accessible to me and I fell in love with the sport. I have met many amazing people, traveled to amazing locations, and have had unforgettable experiences, all thanks to climbing.

When I am not climbing you can find me reading books, spending time with loved ones, and creating music. Some of the coolest places I have climbed include Kentucky, northern Wisconsin, and Thailand.
